Robert E. Arsenault, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born May 18, 1932, in Michigan. A resident for 14 years, he was a self-employed grocer, a Korean War Army veteran who earned a Bronze Star and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars 363.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene; three sons, Michael, Steven and James; one brother, Bill; two sisters, Marilyn Johnson and Evelyn Toy; and four grandchildren.
Services will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
ENOCH 'HARRY' ASHENBERG
Enoch "Harry" Ashenberg, 71, of Henderson died Thursday in a local helath-care center. He was born March 25, 1927, in New York City. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired electronics engineer in the aerospace industry and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Peggy Ann; one daughter, Donna Ashenberg of Marin County, Calif.; one son, Dan Ashenberg of Helena, Mont.; and one sister, Serena Stein of Rehovat, Israel.
Services were 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.
DALE ARLO BUCKLES
Dale Arlo Buckles, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 7, 1914, in Bremen, Ind. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired forklift operator for a tire manufacturer and a member of the Guardian Masonic Lodge in Downey, Calif.
He is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Dale Adam Buckles of Moreno Valley, Calif., and Stephen Buckles of Russellville, Ark.; one daughter, Michelle Myer of Chino, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
STEWARD R. DAYTON
Steward R. Dayton, 78, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born June 6, 1920, in Gordon, Neb. A resident of Southern Nevada for 16 years, he was a retired Air Force lieutenant colonel, a World War II and Korean War veteran, a member of the Retired Officers Association-Southern Nevada Chapter, Rolling Boulders RV Club in Boulder City and Association of Former Intelligence Officers-Las Vegas Chapter.
He is survived by one daughter, Constance Malczynski of California; two sisters, Peggy Taylor and Lois Toftemark, both of Oregon; two brothers, John Dayton of Oregon and Roy Dayton of California; and five grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
DENISE LEE FORD
Denise Lee Ford, 42, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 18, 1955, in Michigan. A resident for 18 years, she was clerk/cashier.
She is survived by her father, Robert Peck of Clines, Mich.; her mother, Margorie Peck of Portage, Mich.; two brothers, Douglas of Las Vegas and Robert Peck of Reno; and one sister, Debra Doane of Las Vegas.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
ROBERT GREEN
Robert Green, 53, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 22, 1944, in New York. A resident for many years, he was a casino bartender.
He is survived by one son, Norman Green of New York.
Burial will be in New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
RICHARD B. GREENE
Richard B. Greene, 57, of Las Vegas died July 12 in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 9, 1941, in Alabama. A resident for 15 years, he was a physician.
He is survived by one brother, Robert Greene.
A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Wednesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
MEDORA S. HUENING
Medora S. Huening, 79, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 19, 1919, in New York. A resident for 46 years, she was a bank clerk.
She is survived by two sons, Edward and Robert; one sister, Jane Carpenter of Spokane, Wash.; and three grandchildren.
Services were 11 a.m. today in St. Christopher's Catholic Church. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
MILTON DWAYNE JOHNSON
Milton Dwayne Johnson, 35, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 5, 1962, in Morton, Miss. A resident for 33 years, he was a chef at the Fremont hotel-casino.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Renee; his father, Albert Johnson Jr., and two brothers, Michael Johnson and Tim Johnson, all of Las Vegas.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., is handling private arrangements.
ROBERT J. KEENAN JR.
Robert J. Keenan Jr., 45, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 24, 1952, in New York. A resident for two years, he was a ticket writer at a sports book.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Damian Keenan and Jason Keenan, both of New York; one daughter, Lindsey Keenan of Las Vegas; one brother, Tom Keenan, and two sisters, Frances Papeo and Lea Ann Ryan, all of New York.
Burial will be New York. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
OSWALDO FRANCISCO LOPEZ MARTINEZ
Oswaldo Francisco Lopez Martinez, 34, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 15, 1964, in Nicaragua. A resident for nine years, he was a cook.
He is survived by his wife, Maria; one son, Oswaldo Lopez; one daughter, Maylin Lopez; his mother, Paula Martinez; one brother, Osmin Solano Martinez; and two sisters, Juana Ortega and Lesbia Patino.
Services were 12:30 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial followed at 2 p.m. today in Woodlawn Cemetery.
CONSORCIA C. NAVARRO
Consorcia C. Navarro, 54, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 22, 1944, in the Philippines. A resident for two years, she was a hotel-casino soft-count clerk.
She is survived by her husband, Robin; five daughters, Maria Roweena Baluyut, Maria Carmelita Navarro, Maria Joanna Navarro, Maria Celina Navarro and Maria Christina Navarro; three sisters, Adelaida Henson, Editha Dela Cruz and Elena Barreto; ane one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anne's Catholic Church.
HELEN M. NEARING
Helen M. Nearing, 90, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 6, 1908, in Massachusetts. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda Nearing of California.

JENNIE MAE POLANSKY
Jennie Mae Polansky, 83, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Oct. 3, 1914, in Billerica, Mass. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired computer organizer for an insurance company.
She is survived by one daughter, Sandra Plourde of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
MICHAEL M. PROBERT
Michael M. Probert, 31, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 8, 1966, in Los Angeles. A resident for 20 years, he was a laborer in the construction industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Kayle Probert of Bakersfield, Calif.; his mother, Necia Bouck of Las Vegas; his father and stepmother, Thomas and Wendy Probert of Oxnard, Calif.; one sister, Lisa Geringer of Los Angeles; and his grandparents, Thomas and Carmella Probert of Las Vegas.

JAMES M. SOOKOV
James M. Sookov, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born June 10, 1924, in Minot, N.D. A resident for 24 years, he was a retired hotel-casino keno writer and World War II and Korean War Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, James M. Sookov Jr. of Las Vegas; three daughters, Patricia L. Damschen of Mesquite and Janet M. Racquer and Jeanne M. Sookov, both of Las Vegas; one brother, John C. Sookov of Sheyenne, N.D.; four sisters, Helen M. Belisle of Woodside, Del., Genevieve M. Schatz of Yakima, Wash., Sr. Marcelline Sookov of Harriman, Tenn., and Mary Jane Cook of Sheyenne; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is private. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
GLADYS M. WILLIAMS
Gladys M. Williams, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Bay Village, Ohio. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her companion, Wayne Scott Backman of Henderson; one daughter, Doreen Caudle of Redlands, Calif.; one sister, Marilyn Free of Boulder City; two grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
