Dorthy Faye Brewer, 66, of Henderson died Sunday. She was born Jan. 18, 1932, in Bowie County, Texas. A resident for 36 years, she was a homemaker and a Henderson Police Department crossing guard for four years.
She is survived by her husband, Robert W.; one daughter, Michelle D. Brewer of Henderson; three sons, Robert S. Brewer and Keith Brewer, both of Las Vegas, and Randall B. Brewer of Henderson; two sisters, Hallie Anderson of New Boston, Texas, and Lula Panell of Fort Worth, Texas; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 4-7 p.m. Wednesday and 12:30 p.m. until 2 p.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.
DONALD A. CAVELL
Donald A. Cavell, 64, of North Las Vegas died Monday in North Las Vegas. He was born May 20, 1934, in Gary, Ind. A resident for two years, he was a retired firefighter and Korean War Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Gayle; two sons, Michael Cavell of Gary and Patrick Cavell of Corpus Christi, Texas; one daughter, Karen Riddle of Newark, Del.; two stepsons, John Brice Jr. of Kokomo, Ind., and William Brice of Wheatfield, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Joyce Plukas of Crown Point, Ind., and Gayle Orvedal of Las Vegas; his mother, Angeline Dennison of Gary; one sister, Esther Tonevich of Crown Point; 19 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
MARY COOMES
Mary Coomes, 66, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 5, 1931, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 40 years, she was a retired convention supervisor, a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary 1753 and Fraternal Order of Eagles 1213.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; four daughters, Marjorie Luxenburg, Karen Riley and Marla Bowie, all of Las Vegas, and Debbie Harris of Akron, Ohio; two sons, Gary Phillips and Dale Luxenburg, one brother, John McIntyre, and one sister, Alice Hoffman, all of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 1-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
ROBERT G. DAVIS
Robert G. Davis, 77, of Las Vegas died July 2 in a local hospital. He was born May 2, 1921, in Fort Worth, Texas. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired self-employed musician.
He is survived by two sons, Scott Keene of Valencia, Calif., and Clayton Sandlin of Cheltenham, England; three daughters, Sharon Mullin of Robinsdale, Minn., Joni Sandlin of Crystal, Minn., and Cecilia Solario of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

JOHN DOUGLAS FISK
John Douglas Fisk, 52, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 28, 1945, in Ohio. A resident for 12 years, he was a cement mason foreman for Perini Construction Inc., a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Cement Masons Local 797.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy; two sons, Frankie Fisk of Overland Park, Kan., and Johnny Fisk of Phoenix; one daughter, Jesse Woelber of Sheridan, Wyo.; his mother, Flora Cox of Cottonwood, Ariz.; his father, Bob Cox of Phoenix; two brothers, Michael Fisk of Corbin, Ky., and Bob Cox of Tempe, Ariz.; and two grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
RAYMOND M. JABLONSKY
Raymond M. Jablonsky, 65, of Las Vegas died July 21 in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 22, 1932, in Chicago. A resident for 10 years, he was a retired supervisor for a plastics manufacturer, an Army veteran and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Elizabeth A.; four daughters, Susan Zeldin of Garden Grove, Calif., Barbara Aldis of Orange, Calif., Cheryl Jablonsky of Buena Park, Calif. and Mary Ripley of Portland, Ore.; two sons, David Jablonsky of Huntington Beach, Calif., and Steven Jablonsky of Milwaukee; two sisters, Gene Niez of Tucson, Ariz., and Ann Leitz of Eau Claire, Wis.; one brother, Edward Jablonsky of Clovis, N.M.; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Thursday in Holy Family Catholic Church.
DOROTHY H. MASTROS
Dorothy H. Mastros, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born April 15, 1930, in Beaver, Utah. A resident for 14 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Carey Mastros of Thornton, Colo., Gregory Mastros of Las Vegas and Wallace Mastros Jr. of Lancaster, Calif.; one brother, Clark Hutchings of Beaver; one sister, Shirley Ann Bracamontes of Lancaster; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
JOHN OWENS
John Owens, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 8, 1928, in Arkansas. A resident for seven years, he was a marine telegrapher in the Merchant Marines.
He is survived by one sister-in-law, Janet Owens of Las Vegas.

JOSEPHINE R. PURDY
Josephine R. Purdy, 78, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. She was born July 2, 1920, in Tonkaway, Okla. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two daughters, Dixie Cartwright of Henderson and Liz Smith of Parsons, Kan.; one son, Gary Moore of Las Vegas; three sisters, Alice Shuers of Kansas, Edith Bush of New Mexico and Marilyn Culver of Oklahoma; three brothers, Orville Clark of Kansas, Walt Clark of Oklahoma and Eugene Clark of Arizona; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. services Wednesday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
ROSE E. SIEGEL
Rose E. Siegel, 90, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 8, 1907, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor Rabinoff and Helaine W. Siegel, both of Las Vegas, and Phyllis Zimmerman of Cherry Hill, N.J.; one son, Alvin J. Siegel of Central Valley, N.Y.; eight grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
No local services are scheduled. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
KENNETH R. WEAST
Kenneth R. Weast, 50, of Henderson died July 13 in Saudi Arabia. He was born Jan. 30, 1948, in Waukesha, Wis. A resident for 38 years, he was a logistics officer for military training, a Vietnam War Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Non-Commissioned Officers Association.
He is survived by his wife, Rosemarie B.; three daughters, Barbara Sampier of Springfield, Mo., Sharron Williams of Henderson and Theresa Barnum of Pocatello, Idaho; two sons, Kenneth R. Weast Jr. and Raymond Sampier, both of Henderson; two brothers, Charles A. Weast of Henderson and Thomas F. Weast of Fort Walton Beach, Fla.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 3-5 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

LORI ELIZABETH WHEATLEY
Lori Elizabeth Wheatley, 35, of Las Vegas died July 21 in Las Vegas. She was born June 28, 1963, in Canton, Ohio. A resident for 15 years, she was a schoolteacher and founding member of the Las Vegas Blues Society.
She is survived by one sister, Natalie Holder, and one niece, Aja Holder, both of De Land, Fla.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private services.
ROBERT WHITLEY
Robert Whitley, 68, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 28, 1930, in Hackensack, N.J. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired pilot in the aerospace industry and a Korean War Air Force infantry veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Laura Elaine Whitley of Apple Valley, Calif., and Colleen Janice Moore of Las Vegas; one son, Paul Eric Whitley of Whittier, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

MICHAEL WALTER WILSON
Michael Walter Wilson, 32, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 11, 1965, in Peoria, Ill. A resident for 11 years, he was a credit counselor for five years, a volunteer for the March of Dimes and Catholic Charities, a member of LVG's Bowling League, Las Vegas Gay & Lesbian Community Center and American Society of Travel Agents.
He is survived by his companion, Jim St. Marie, his mother, Marene Wilson, one brother, Lance Wilson, and his grandmother, Elizabeth Casar, all of Las Vegas; one uncle, Jay Redka of California; one niece and one nephew.
Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2121 Western Ave., Suite A-3, is handling arrangements.

VAN RAWLINGS WISER
Van Rawlings Wiser, 52, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 10, 1945, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 10 years, he was an area manager at Petco and a Navy veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Darrell Wiser and Travis Wiser, both of Henderson; two daughters, Michelle Ruesch of Las Vegas and Danielle Wiser of Henderson; his mother, Gretta Wiser of Hurricane, Utah; two brothers, Irwin Dawn Wiser of Hurricane and William I. Wiser of San Diego; one sister, Marcia Boyack of Los Alamos, N.M.; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services today in the LDS Chapel New Forest Ward. Burial will be in Idaho. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
