Prison spokesman Glen Whorton said the inmate, who wasn't named, will be brought back to the prison on Wednesday. He said a couple of pellets broke the skin on the convict's head but "there were no serious injuries. This was not life-threatening."
The prisoner will face disciplinary proceedings for the fight, which occurred in a segregation area at NSP. He also may be billed for the emergency helicopter ride and medical treatment.
