LAKE MEAD: Boaters continue to enjoy success catching striped bass with the fish being taken in deep water with bait and from the surface with lures. Drifting baits several hundred yards off shore from Hemenway Harbor and Special Events Beach is catching stripers that weigh from 2 to 6 pounds. Stripers are also being caught from the A buoy to Black Island and at the tires at Las Vegas Bay Marina.
LAKE MOHAVE: Fair action for striped bass is continuing above Cottonwood Cove while the rainbow trout fishing is very good at Willow Beach. Boaters report catching stripers in the 14-inch range by trolling crank baits from the north power lines to Owl's Point. Large Rapala lures are being favored by trollers.

ECHO CANYON RESERVOIR: Rainbow trout fishing is still good while the action continues to improve for largemouth bass. Last weekens a rainbow that measured 18 inches and weighed 2 1/2 pounds was pulled from the lake. The fishing for crappie has been slow.
SCHROEDER RESERVOIR: Anglers are still having slow action for rainbow trout in the lake, but success in the stream below the reservoir. Barbless hooks and artificial lures are required when fishing in the lake and stream.
