Rodolfo B. Bautista, 77, of Las Vegas died Jan. 21 in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 28, 1920, in Manila, Philippines. A one-year resident, he was an assistant director at a bank.

He is survived by his wife, Socorro; one daughter, Marie Grace Hill of Las Vegas; one son, Jacinto Bautista II of Mississauga, Ontario; one brother, Gualberto Bautista of the Philippines; three grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Christ the King Catholic Church.

DONALD E. CURLEY

Donald E. Curley, 84, of Ls Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 12, 1913, in California. A resident for 29 years, he was a sales manager and a member of the Masons.

He is survived by two sons, Donald E. Curley Jr. of Montara, Calif., and Michael R. Curley of Jean; and four daughters.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is arranging private services.

ROSEMARIE DELMONTE

Rosemarie Delmonte, 68, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 20, 1929, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for three years, she was a retired restaurateur.

She is survived by one daughter, Diane Chandler of Las Vegas; one sister, Alvera David of Lancaster, N.Y.; two brothers, Raymond Moses of St. Clair Shores, Mich., and Nicholas Moses of Buffalo; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today with a 7 p.m. rosary in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church.

LEON A. DONNIANI

Leon A. Donniani, 30, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 13, 1967, in Connecticut. A longtime resident, he was a construction worker.

He is survived by his mother, Rosemary Atherton.

LAWRENCE MEYER FORD

Lawrence Meyer Ford, 94, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born July 13, 1903, in Riga, Mich. A 5 1/2-year resident, he was a retired owner-operator of a fast food outlet, a member of the Masonic Lodge and Elks Lodge, both of Elyria, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two sons, Lawrence Thomas Ford of Monroeville, Ohio, and Kenneth Michael Ford of Parma, Ohio; one daughter, Marilyn Sue Ford of Las Vegas; one brother, Donald Taft Ford of St. Petersburg, Fla.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

FRANCES GALLAGHER-ODEN

Frances Gallagher-Oden, 80, of Overton died Wednesday in Overton. She was born Sept. 17, 1917, in Arkansas City, Kan. A resident for 57 years, she was a retired postal clerk, a member of the Challenger Club and St. Bridget's Altar Society.

She is survived by her husband, Herman Oden; one son, James Gallagher of Corvallis, Mont.; two daughters, Barbara Hill of Tucson, Ariz., and Brooke Prather of Pahrump; one sister, Barbara Gilland of Arkansas City; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is private. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday in St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Memory Gardens. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

JOAN GLISIC

Joan Glisic, 55, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 22, 1942, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for three years, she was a student at UNLV.

She is survived by her husband, William; two sons, Adam Rockich and Anthony Rockich, both of Akron, Ohio; two daughters, Amber Coppenger of Atwater, Ohio, and Autumn Vavoso of Tampa, Fla.; one sister, Joy Marksberry of Phoenix; and three grandchildren.

BERT GRAHAM

Bert Graham, 88, of Las Vegas died Jan. 23 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 21, 1909, in Fillmore, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired X-ray technician, a member of Beta Sigma Phi in Gardnerville and awarded Woman of the Year 1984-85 and second place ribbon in the senior section from the Nevada State Ceramic Association.

She is survived by one niece, Margaret Romero of Las Vegas.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday in the Grand Court of Las Vegas, 6650 W. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

JOHNNY HAINES

Johnny Haines, 91, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 7, 1906, in Alba, Texas. A resident for 60 years, he was a retired casino executive.

He is survived by one son, Paul Haines of Las Vegas; one daughter, Lorraine Haines of Apple Valley, Minn.; and one brother, Tom Haines of Reno.

WAYNE G. HAMMOND

Wayne G. Hammond, 72, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 28, 1925, in Illinois. A resident for nine years, he was a World War II Army veteran, a lifetime member of the Henderson Elks Lodge and a member of SCORE.

He is survived by his wife, Kathleen A.; two daughters, Jerolyn Jacobs of Arizona and Jacalyn Hammond of New Mexico; and one grandchild.

MARGARITA JENSEN

Margarita Jensen, 63, of Las Vegas died Jan. 8 in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 16, 1934, in Tombstone, Ariz. A resident for 30 years, she was a change person at the Fremont hotel-casino.

She is survived by two daughters, Robin Louis of Las Vegas and Sylvia Hughes of Superior, Ariz.; one son, Harold Jensen of Las Vegas; one brother, Ariodico Rodriguez of Tucson, Ariz.; five sisters, Josie Loyla of Florida and Bea Loyla, Carmin Rios and Connie Stewart, all of Tucson, and Francis of Tombstone; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

CATHERINA M. KEARNEY

Catherina M. Kearney, 60, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1937, in Navan, Ireland. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker and a member of Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.

She is survived by two sons, Alan Kearney of Chicago and Peter Kearney of Las Vegas; five daughters, Janice Kearney-Lutz, Bernadette Kearney and Christiane Kearney, all of Las Vegas, and Shirley Langguth and Fiona Kearney, both of Hawaii; two brothers, Eugene McKenna and Charles McKenna, and two sisters, Nina McKenna and Laura Kearney, all of England; and 11 grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in St. Anne Catholic Church, followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

MARY KATHRYN LAKEOTES

Mary Kathryn Lakeotes, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 10, 1918, in Memphis, Tenn. A resident for 43 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Christopher Lakeotes of Newport News, Va.; one daughter, Sondra Lakeotes Lawlor of Bel Air, Calif.; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

JOSEPH LUKSZA

Joseph Luksza, 76, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospice. He was born Jan. 25, 1922, in Bridgeport, Conn. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired frozen food manager for a wholesaler and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; and one son, Rick Luksza of Henderson.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is arranging private services.

LYNN MALONE

Lynn Malone, 42, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Pensacola, Fla. A resident for 10 years, she was a magazine advertising saleswoman.

She is survived by one daughter, Heather Malone of Jacksonville, Fla.; one son, Justin Malone, and her mother, Phyllis Smith, both of Laguna Hills, Calif.; her father, Tom Eggleston of North Las Vegas; and two brothers, Rick Henderson of Foley, Ala., and Edward Eggleston of Laguna Hills.

Visitation is scheduled noon until 6 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

MICHAEL MALONE

Michael Malone, 35, of Las Vegas died Jan. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born July 17, 1962, in California. A resident for 10 years, he was a technician for a pager company.

He is survived by his grandfather, Kenneth Devore of Commerce City, Colo.; and numerous cousins, all of Colorado.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be private.

ROBERT GEORGE MECHANIC

Robert George Mechanic, 63, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 11, 1934, in Franklin Square, N.Y. A resident for 16 years, he was an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by one daughter, Maria Lynne Savage of Las Vegas; three sons, Robert David Mechanic of Atwater, Calif., and Mark Allen Mechanic and Michael David Mechanic, both of Las Vegas; and 12 grandchildren.

Graveside services were scheduled at 9:15 a.m. today in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City, followed by a private burial. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

POK SUN MILLER

Pok Sun Miller, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 8, 1933, in Korea. A resident for 28 years, she was a 17-year gaming employee at the Horseshoe.

She is survived by her husband, John L.; one daughter, Ruth Miller of Las Vegas; one son, Jin Kyong Soo of Korea; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled noon until 2 p.m. services today in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave., followed by burial in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

GUADALUPE VALLES RAMIREZ

Guadalupe Valles Ramirez, 74, of Henderson died Monday in El Paso, Texas. She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Mexico. A longtime Henderson resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Inez; two sons, Richard Ramirez and Robert Ramirez, both of Los Angeles; three daughters, Lucy Delgado of Las Vegas, Rosa Hernandez of Henderson and Guadalupe Romero of El Paso; three brothers, Rejeno Valles Huerta and Margarito Valles Huerta, both of Mexico, and Salome Valles Huerta of Los Angeles; one sister, Antonia Ortega of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin 6 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. rosary in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Mass will be celebrated 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. Peter's Catholic Church. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

DAVID B. ROGERS

David B. Rogers, 66, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born April 6, 1931, in Coolidge, Ariz. A resident for 40 years, he was a retired director of sound in the entertainment industry, a veteran of the National Guard and a member of International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees Union Local 720.

He is survived by his wife, Elba; three daughters, Suzynne Fowler, Trish Elliott and Lorraine Cebollero, and three sons, Michael Rogers, Donovan Belian and Gilbert Cebollero, all of Las Vegas; one brother, Sam Rogers of Bozeman, Mont.; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Monday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Elaine Amelia Safranek, 70, of Las Vegas died Jan. 23 in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 31, 1927, in Bridgeton, N.J. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; two sons, Joseph A. Safranek and Michael Lee Safranek, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Eleanor Tamanini of Vineland, N.J., and June Hummel of Clayton, N.J.; and one grandchild.

Robert L. Stanley Jr., 12, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 27, 1985, in Trenton, N.J. A resident for three years, he was a student.

He is survived by his mother, JoAnn Clark of Las Vegas; his father, Robert Stanley Sr., and two sisters, Latisha Paden and Quamer Stanley, all of Trenton; three brothers, Marquese Stanley and Bayshawn Clark, both of Las Vegas, and Vincent Daggett of Trenton; his grandparents, Marion Clark, Jenny Stanley and Calvin C. Flowers, and his great-grandmother, Narcissus Campbell, all of Trenton.

Visitation was scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial followed.

MAX M. STRATTON

Max M. Stratton, 79, of Pahrump died Wednesday in a local health care center. He was born April 29, 1918, in Whittemore, Iowa. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired farmer, a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge in Victorville, Calif., the Pahrump Moose Lodge, worked with the Boy Scouts of America for 20 years and enjoyed wood carving.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Frances; three sons, Larry Stratton of Ocean Park, Wash., John Stratton of Oak Ridge, N.C., and Richard Stratton of Lacey, Wash.; one brother, Frank Stratton of Alexandria, Minn.; one sister, Maxine Huff of Algona, Iowa; and 12 grandchildren.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church in Pahrump. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.
