Paul E. Binstein, 55, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born Feb. 14, 1942, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired gaming floor manager.

He is survived by his wife, Judy Bearden-Binstein; one son, Todd Binstein of Palm Desert, Calif.; one daughter, Tracy Donenfeld of Laguna Hills, Calif.; one brother, Bob Binstein of Puerto Rico; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in Word of Grace Christian Fellowship, 3825 Melody Lane. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

KARLI BRAY

Karli Bray, 69, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1928, in Inglewood, Calif. A resident for 35 years, he was a mechanical technician and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one cousin, Linda Smith.

CARMINE BUONANNO SR.

Carmine Buonanno Sr., 63, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born July 19, 1934, in Italy. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired restaurateur and a veteran of the Italian Army.

He is survived by his wife, Valentina; one daughter, Daiena Buonanno, and two sons, Mario Buonanno and Carmine Buonanno Jr., all of Henderson; one sister, Rosa Buonanno of Italy; and five grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be noon Friday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

THORA BUSH

Thora Bush, 93, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in a local rehabilitation center. A restaurant supervisor, she was born July 4, 1904.

She is survived by one sister, Florence Scholtz.

Burial will be in California. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

TSUTAE CASAVOY

Tsutae Casavoy, 68, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. She was born March 17, 1929, in Nagoya, Japan. A resident for 32 years, she was a 21 dealer.

She is survived by one son, Rod Casavoy; three grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

MARVIN R. FALK

Marvin R. Falk, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 3, 1924, in Tacoma, Wash. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired longshoreman supervisor, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Longshoremen's Union in San Francisco.

He is survived by one sister, Arlene Bolton of California.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 2 p.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

BALBINA GARCIA

Balbina Garcia, 87, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 18, 1910, in Mexico. A resident for two years, she was a retired schoolteacher.

She is survived by three sons, Humberto Garcia of Las Vegas, Eleazar Garcia of Tijuana, Mexico, and Aminadab Garcia of Los Angeles; one daughter, Tamar Marquez of Los Angeles; 18 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 1 p.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Main. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

KENNETH PAUL HUTTON

Kenneth Paul Hutton, 68, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Indiana. A resident for 60 years, he was an iron worker, an Army veteran and a member of the Elks in Show Low, Ariz.

He is survived by one daughter, Sandi L. Johnson of Arizona; one brother, Harry Hutton of South Carolina; one sister, Jean Sparks of Henderson; and one grandchild.

ELIZABETH YVETTE KLEINHANS

Elizabeth Yvette Kleinhans, 86, of Las Vegas died Jan. 22 in a local hospital. She was born July 26, 1911, in Tennessee. A resident for eight years, she was an apartment manager/secretary and a member of the ASPCA.

She is survived by one son, James Kleinhans; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

TOMMY DEE LANGFORD

Tommy Dee Langford, 46, of Las Vegas died Jan. 15 in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 20, 1951, in Texas. A longtime resident, he was a cosmetologist/hairstylist.

He is survived by one daughter, Crystal J. Harrison, and one sister, Jennifer Hillegass, both of Las Vegas; two brothers, John Freitag of Venice, Calif., and Anthony Wintermote of Las Vegas; and two grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

HILDA MAURER

Hilda Maurer, 82, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A homemaker, she was born Feb. 26, 1915, in Marysville, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert W. Maurer.

THERESE MARCHASE

Therese Marchase, 78, of New Jersey, died Monday in New Jersey. She was born June 20, 1919, in New Jersey. A former resident of Las Vegas for 24 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley DiMartino of Las Vegas and Elaine McNeil of San Luis Obispo, Calif.; three sons, Donald Marchase of New Jersey, and Justin Marchase and Billy, both of Bellevue, N.J.; 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

EVALYN MCBRAUNEHUE

Evalyn McBraunehue, 86, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 4, 1912, in Oakland, Calif. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired insurance secretary.

She is survived by one sister, Jean Johnson of Sacramento.

Services were scheduled at 3:30 p.m. today in Central Christian Church. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

JEANNE M. PACINI

Jeanne M. Pacini, 52, of Boulder City died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born April 2, 1945, in Stockton, Calif. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired postal clerk.

She is survived by her husband, Gino; two daughters, Anita Pacini of Boulder City and Maria Williams of Henderson; one son, Michael Pacini of Boulder City; one brother, John Adame, and her stepmother, Janet Adame, both of Lodi, Calif.; and one stepsister, Cheryl Wilson of Milwaukee; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Henderson. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

GUADALUPE VALLES RAMIREZ

Guadalupe Valles Ramirez, 74, of Henderson died Monday in El Paso, Texas. She was born Dec. 12, 1923, in Mexico. A longtime Henderson resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Inez; two sons, Richard Ramirez and Robert Ramirez, both of Los Angeles; three daughters, Lucy Delgado of Las Vegas, Rosa Hernandez of Henderson and Guadalupe Romero of El Paso; three brothers, Rejeno Valles Huerta and Margarito Valles Huerta, both of Mexico, and Salome Valles Huerta of Los Angeles; one sister, Antonia Ortega of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will begin 6 p.m. Sunday with a 7 p.m. rosary in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Hites Funeral Chapel. Graveside services will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

ARTURO C. ROSALES

Arturo C. Rosales, 49, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 16, 1948, in Jerez, Mexico. A resident for three years, he was a laborer.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; two sisters, Concepcion Rosales and Maria Guadalupe, both of Jerez; and three brothers, Saul Rosales of Jerez and Juan Rosales and Javier Rosales, both of San Pedro, Calif.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

JOHN ROBERT RUFF

John Robert Ruff, 47, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Denver. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired 17-year Clark County senior building inspector, an astronomy instructor at UNLV, a member of the American Italian Catholic Federation and Knights of Columbus and past president of the Las Vegas Astronomical Society.

He is survived by two sons, Nathaniel Ruff and Ethan Ruff, one daughter, Bianca Ruff, and his mother, Nancy Ruff, all of Las Vegas; his father, John Robert Crow of Denver; five sisters, Mary Diane Simmons and Laurie Ann Ruff, both of Las Vegas, Tammy Butcher of Denver and Tina Clark and Terri Shaw, both of Westminster, Colo.; one brother, Frank Crow of New York City; and his grandmother, Angelina Gdovin of Las Vegas.

Services will be 4:30 p.m. Friday in Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

BERNHARDT SEPPEL

Bernhardt Seppel, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 8, 1927, in Michigan. A longtime resident, he was a captain on a private yacht and a Korean War Merchant Marine veteran.

Services are private. Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Mary M. Shababy, 78, of Las Vegas died Jan. 19 in a local hospital. A resident for four years, she was born Nov. 7, 1919, in Illinois.

Preston Ponciana Thornton, 69, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born June 15, 1928, in Pompano, Fla. A resident for 30 years, he was a showroom captain for Summa Corp.

He is survived by his wife, Deborah; four sons, Jorge Thornton of Las Vegas and Jerry Thornton, Preston Thornton Jr. and Neil Thornton, all of New Jersey; three daughters, Barbara Thornton of New Jersey and Sandy Thornton and Monica Thornton, both of New York state; two brothers, Sol Thornton of Melbourne, Fla., and George Thornton of Vero Beach, Fla.; three sisters, Lucretia Clark of New York state and Mary Fayson and Easter Mae Griffin, both of Pompano; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

George Leon Watts, 56, of Las Vegas died Jan. 19 in a local convalescent center. He was born March 16, 1941, in Indiana. A resident for 10 years, he was a carpet installer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, Thomas Watts; one daughter, Michele Lewis; one brother, Tom Watts; and one grandchild.
