Letter: Independent counsel has vendetta against Clinton
Thursday, Jan. 29, 1998 | 11:07 a.m.
He was hired as an independent prosecutor. He is not, has not and will not ever be independent. There is a personal vendetta against President Clinton and the U.S. government. He has tried to bribe people by offering immunity and every other vile thing to bring down the presidency. So far it has not worked. This all proves Starr is acting personally.
Starr has used from $20 million to as much as $60 million of public money for his personal use (he has not collected one dime of money the government lost). Using public money for private use is against the law in the United States and every state, city and county. He should be tried and convicted for this as well as being traitorous to our country, which carries the death penalty.
I cannot think of anything more vile and revolting for any man to do than to try to use sex to injure any government man, woman or child. And any woman that would be a party to it makes them both the lowest form of human life. If they were in trouble and I could save the life of them or a rattlesnake, they would be in deep trouble -- I would save the snake.
