Jesus "Jess" Avila, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1946, in California. A 20-year resident, he was a truck driver.
He is survived by one son, Michael Sandoval; three daughters, Maria Hernandez, Evangelina Avila and Angela Godinez; his father, Michael Sandoval; his mother, Henrietta Williams; two brothers, Greg Avila and Drake Avila; and 13 grandchildren.
Services were scheduled at 4 p.m. today in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
KENNETH GEORGE BRIZZIE SR.
Kenneth George Brizzie Sr., 88, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. He was born May 30, 1909, in Meriden, Conn. A 17-year resident, he was a retired citrus grower.
He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Brizzie Jr. and David Brizzie, both of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
PAUL CUGINI
Paul Cugini, 56, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 3, 1941, in Pennsylvania. A longtime resident, he was a casino bartender.
He is survived by his wife, Helen.
Burial will be in Pennsylvania. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.
THOMAS J. EDELMANN
Thomas J. Edelmann, 56, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 27, 1941, in Bristol, Pa. A 19-year resident, he was a mechanic who worked for the city of Las Vegas Water Pollution Control Facility.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two sons, Leroy Edelmann and Dale Edelmann, and one stepbrother, John Edelmann, all of Las Vegas; and one stepsister, Nancy Davis-Rayner of Redondo Beach, Calif.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 1 p.m. services Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will be private. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
CONSTANCE FEINSTEIN
Constance Feinstein, 74, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a California medical center. She was born June 10, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A 12-year resident, she was a retired shirt maker.
She is survived by one son, Alan Feinstein of Napa, Calif.; one daughter, Rene Feinstein of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., followed by burial in Bunker's Eden Vale Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., handled arrangements.
STANLEY JOHN GARBACZ
Stanley John Garbacz, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 16, 1925, in Illinois. A six-month resident, he was a machinist for a clearing corporation and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Bernice; two sons, William Garbacz and George Garbacz, two daughters, Susan Bogo and Mary Ann Deiass, and one sister, Stephany LaTosha, all of Chicago; and eight grandchildren.
Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, handled arrangements.
FRANK GRUELL
Frank Gruell, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local convalescent hospital. He was born Dec. 12, 1918, in Cincinnati. A one-year resident, he was a retired steel mill welder.
He is survived by his wife, Tulla; two daughters, Frances Bailey of Las Vegas and Norma Moore of Yalaha, Fla.; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
JAMES HENRY JOHNSON
James Henry Johnson, 59, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 14, 1938, in Arkansas. A four-year resident, he was a retired examiner for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; three daughters, Shunne Rucker of Ontario, Calif., and Jackie and Debbie, both of California; three sons, Myron Johnson and David Johnson, both of Riverside, Calif., and James Johnson Jr. of Moreno Valley, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Joan Thurmond of Chicago and Robin Hall and Denise Ashley, both of Las Vegas; his father, Willie Johnson of Pomona, Calif.; one sister, Mildred Holt of Los Angeles; and eight grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Chapel, Main.
NOREEN O'CONNOR
Noreen O'Connor, 48, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 15, 1949, in Palo Alto, Calif. A 30-year resident, she owned and operated a bar.
She is survived by her husband, Tim; one son, Sean O'Connor, one daughter, Kari O'Connor, her mother, Loretta Pascoe, and one sister, Kathy Adkins, all of Las Vegas; and two brothers, Skip Farley of Sacramento, Calif., and Keith Farley of Sonora, Calif.
Services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
RAE O'DAY
Rae O'Day, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born July 27, 1921, in San Diego. A 35-year resident, she was a retired office manager for an automobile dealership.
She is survived by one daughter, Kathy O'Day of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

BEVERLY ANN RAE
Beverly Ann Rae, 65, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born March 10, 1932, in Big Timber, Mont. A 31-year resident, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Brett Rae and Scott Rae; one daughter, Tamara Galon; and her mother, Louise.
Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
M. LOUISE TEISSEDRE
M. Louise Teissedre, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 9, 1917, in Quincy, Ill. A 50-year resident, she was a homemaker, a member of the Southgate Chapter Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile Elgiza Temple, St. Jude's Women's Auxiliary and the Mesquite Club.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Flo Walker, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local care center. She was born June 20, 1905, in Little Rock, Ark. A 40-year resident, she was a homemaker.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 3 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
TALMADGE 'TOM' WILLIAMS
Talmadge "Tom" Williams, 60, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 7, 1937, in Harvey, Ill. A one-year resident, he was a retired radio and television broadcaster and an Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Joann; three daughters, Debra Williams and Sherlee Williams, both of Las Vegas, and Cristy Gullett of Metamora, Ill.; his father, Flim Williams of Kuttawa, Ky.; one brother, Boyd Williams of Hubbard, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 6 p.m. services Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
