Letter: Organizations will thrive if they develop patience, priorities

Friday, Jan. 9, 1998 | 9:56 a.m.

Develop patience, for without patience, we do not develop in mind, body or soul.

Develop good habits and correct the bad ones, both in the workplace and at home.

We should get our priorities right, for not all things are equal in importance.

Under stress and strain, keep a cool head because it is the cool head that is in control and not being controlled by the situation.

Communication should be given top priority, after the voice of experience, for the more we communicate, the better off the whole world will be. Whether in the military, politics or society in general, one should always have a "plan of action."

Teamwork, manners and consideration should be the rule and not the exception in any social institution.

One can solve about 50 percent of the problems of mankind with a clear head and common sense. The other 50 percent can only be solved through hands-on experience.
