The UNLV women's basketball team will be back on the road this weekend in search of its first Western Athletic Conference victory of the season. The Lady Rebels (1-12, 0-2) will travel to Colorado Springs, Colo., for a 1 p.m. WAC contest Saturday against Air Force (5-7, 0-2). The game will be broadcast live on KSFN 1140-AM. After closing out their nonconference schedule with an 86-60 victory over Loyola Marymount on Dec. 30, the Lady Rebels dropped their first two WAC games at Wyoming and at Colorado State. Senior guard Taneisha Gossett leads UNLV in scoring, averaging 10.6 points, while junior forward Angalete Dye leads the Lady Rebels and the WAC in rebounding with 9.8 per game. The Lady Rebels return home next Thursday for a 7 p.m. conference game with UTEP at Lied Gymnasium.
