Sheldon Aberman apologized for the April incident and acknowledged his error. In addition to the suspension, he lost his computer privileges through the end of his junior year.
Aberman said school librarians wouldn't even allow him to use the electronic card catalog, although students can't access the Internet that way.
Aberman is now a senior enrolled in the Community College high school program, which allows students to take both required high school classes and elective college courses on the college campus.
