New Year baby comes three weeks early

The baby boy came three weeks early, making his arrival at 12:11 a.m. Thursday at Washoe Medical Center and becoming Reno's first baby born in 1998.
He weighed in at 7 pounds, 7 ounces, after his mother, Michal Whiting, 19, of Lemmon Valley, endured 19 hours of hard labor.
Dylin was delivered by Caesarean section.
