twitterEight ballet students receive scholarships from Liberace Foundation

The scholarship recipients, selected at auditions, are: Beth Abbott, Stacy Bleser, Kristen Conder, Lindsay Egbert, Lauren Gonzales, Jennifer Hallmark, Rebekah Raatz and Karen Wojtowicz. Ranging in age from 8 to 17 years, many of these young people have been studying ballet for some time and have appeared with NDT's professional dancers in "The Nutcracker" and other ballets.
Liberace Foundation scholarships are awarded for tuition assistance to students who display exceptional artistic potential. Liberace Scholars this year include students of music, dance, drama, film and the visual arts.
