Dawn Vivian Bradbury, 60, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 19, 1938, in Wisconsin. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one sister, Coleen Van Hecker.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

RACHEL BUTLER

Rachel Butler, 63, of Los Angeles died Feb. 20 in Los Angeles. She was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Louisiana. A former Las Vegas resident from 1954-86, she was a retired caregiver for the state welfare office.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Vaughns of Los Angeles and Georgia House of Las Vegas; one sister, Genovia Whitfield, and three brothers, Leon Jordan, Leroy Jordan and Lavern Jordan, all of Las Vegas; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday in Victory Missionary Baptist Church. Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Saturday in Woodlawn Cemetery.

CARLOS CAMARENA

Carlos Camarena, 60, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 15, 1937, in Guadalajara, Mexico. A resident for nine years, he was a hotel-casino bartender and a member of Bartenders Union 165.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; one son, Carlos Camarena of Los Angeles; one daughter, Sandra Palma of Henderson; two sisters, Anita Rubalcava of Las Vegas and Catalina Camarena of Henderson; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Saturday in St. Thomas More Catholic Church.

BRUCE CLIFTON

Bruce Clifton, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 19, 1938, in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired federal government engineer and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; one son, Mark Clifton, his mother, Cecel Clifton, and one brother, Dennis Clifton, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

MOISES F. GONZALES

Moises F. Gonzales, 53, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born June 27, 1944, in Chama, N.M. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired laborer for the city sanitation department.

He is survived by one daughter, Ernestine Corral of Las Vegas; one son, Richard Gonzales of Twin Falls, Idaho; one stepdaughter, Sally Pribble of Montrose, Colo.; his mother, Frances Gonzales, two sisters, Marcella Madrid and Josie Andazola, and four brothers, Paul Gonzales, Orlando Gonzales, Benito Gonzales Jr. and Raymond Gonzales, all of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Henderson.

CHARLES WESLEY GREEN

Charles Wesley Green, 48, of Las Vegas died Feb. 11 in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1949, in Blomington, Ill. A resident for 10 years, he was an air-conditioning repairman and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his parents, Bertie and Terry Ryder of Las Vegas.

FRANCES I. HAMMOND

Frances I. Hammond, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 27, 1929, in Seattle. A resident for 34 years, she was a retired gift shop cashier.

She is survived by four daughters, Patricia Kendall of Bend, Ore., Julie LaPlante and Susan Badger, both of Las Vegas, and Mary Hammond of Anaheim, Calif.; two sons, Steven Hammond of Mountain Home, Idaho, and John Hammond of Las Vegas; one sister, Barbara Hansen of Marysville, Wash.; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

WESLEY J. HERMAN

Wesley J. Herman, 77, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local care center. He was born June 21, 1920, in Chicago. A resident for 11 years, he was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; six sons, John Herman and Richard Herman, both of California, Charles Herman of Indiana, and Michael Herman, Paul Herman and James Herman, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Janet Silvestri of California; 22 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 9:15 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

WILLIAM O. HOAG

William O. Hoag, 59, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 23, 1938, in Santa Monica, Calif. A resident for 28 years, he was a 36-year feeder driver for United Parcel Service and a Korean War Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra; two daughters, Susanne Armijo of Las Vegas and Diana Bertsch of Kailua-Kona, Hawaii; two sons, Thomas Hoag and Ronald Hoag, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Muriel Briscoe of Austin, Texas; two brothers, Robert Hoag of Santa Monica and Jack Arnold of Granada Hills, Calif.; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Upland Bible Church, 920 Upland Blvd. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

JOYCE W. JACKSON

Joyce W. Jackson, 63, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Greensboro, N.C. She was born Feb. 19, 1934, in New York City. A resident for 4 1/2 years, she was an insurance claims adjuster.

She is survived by one daughter, Sharon Ingram of Greensboro.

A memorial service was scheduled at 1 p.m. today in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. A private burial followed.

SALLY JACOBS

Sally Jacobs, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born March 25, 1913, in New York City. A resident for 50 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Tobi Butterowe of Las Vegas; one brother, Samuel Goldstein of New York; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled 10 a.m.-2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Graveside services will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

LOUISE LAUGHEAD

Louise Laughead, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born Feb. 6, 1916, in Hindsboro, Ill. A resident for 41 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Maribeth Boatwright of Las Vegas; two sisters, Julia Ichkowsky of Las Vegas and Ruth Bobbie Long of Oakland, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Claudie McGee, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 6, 1919, in Harrisburg, Miss. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired hotel laborer and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Maggie Love of Las Vegas; and two sons, Danny McGee and Samuel McGee of Las Vegas.

Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday in Palm Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.

JUANITA A. MINOR

Juanita A. Minor, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Nov. 15, 1913, in Henrietta, Okla. A resident for 19 years, she was a retired beautician.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; one daughter, Beverly Bolten, and one brother, Lowell Powell, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

FRANK JAMES ONDRISKO

Frank James Ondrisko, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 20, 1917, in Chicago. A resident for 52 years, he was a plumber and a member of Plumbers Union Local 525 since 1960.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Marie; three sons, Frank Ondrisko Jr., Doanld Ondrisko and Gary Ondrisko, all of Las Vegas; one daughter, Annamarie Roberts of Reno; and eight grandchildren.

HELEN M. REETZ

Helen M. Reetz, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 14, 1904, in Michigan. A resident for 40 years, she owned and operated a hardware store and a restaurant.

She is survived by one son, Jack Lejune of Bradenton, Fla.; two daughters, Joyce Hunt of Las Vegas and Ann Sutherland of Tracy, Calif.; one brother, Wesley Hemminger of Glendale, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Ray C. Romano, 47, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 3, 1950, in San Francisco. A resident for two years, he was a retired railroad roadmaster.

He is survived by his wife, Kellie C.; two daughters, Samara D. Amos of Tampa, Fla., and Morgan R.C. Romano of Las Vegas; one son, Justin R. Romano of Annandale, Minn.; his mother, Betty J. Robinson of San Jose, Calif.; two brothers, William L.R. Romano of Tenino, Wash., and Gary D. Romano of Reno; one sister, Pat J. Keefhaver of Carmel, Calif.; and one uncle, Ray C. Robinson of Jackson, Calif.

Leo F. Rowan, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born April 9, 1922, in Newell, S.D. A resident for 67 years, he was a retired construction lineman, a World War II Army veteran, a 54-year member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and a charter member of Moose Lodge 1928.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; three sons, Warren Ponton and Donald Ponton, both of Las Vegas, and James Ponton of Fairfield, Calif.; two daughters, Darlene Ruedy of Carson City and Ginger Dean of Overton; one brother, Joseph A. Rowan of Las Vegas; one sister, Mary C. Pearson of Westminster, Calif.; 32 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Chapel, Main.

JAMES EARL SCHIELD

James Earl Schield, 44, of Las Vegas died Feb. 5 in Las Vegas. He was born March 27, 1953, in Illinois. A longtime resident, he was a cook and a chef.

He is survived by one brother, Bob Schield of Florida.

Eileen Mary Siegfried, 69, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 26, 1928, in Pennsylvania. A resident for eight years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, John; four daughters, Kathleen Schneider, Noreen Rae, Lori Hasseay and Sherry Elras; two brothers, Joseph Mullin and Thomas Mullin; one sister, Joyce Zook; 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

ROBERT DWIGHT WILSON

Robert Dwight Wilson, 86, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 14, 1911, in Johnstown, Pa. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired chief chemist for U.S. Steel, a 20-year president of the Clerical Union and a member of the Elks.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; one daughter, Michele Licavoli of Huntington Beach, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Jody Russell of Scottsdale, Ariz.; one stepson, George Wiggins of Moberly, Mo.; one sister, Ester Singleton of Los Angeles; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., handled arrangements.

SHIRLEY C. WITTWER

Shirley C. Wittwer, 73, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 21, 1925, in Oregon. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by five sons, Chris Wittwer of Anchorage, Alaska, Kerry Wittwer of California, William Wittwer of Las Vegas, Steven Wittwer of Henderson and Joseph Wittwer of Moapa; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

VERNA LEE WRIGHT

Verna Lee Wright, 72, of North Las Vegas died Friday in North Las Vegas. She was born Jan. 12, 1926, in Houston. A resident for 52 years, she was a porter at the Flamingo hotel-casino.

She is survived by two sons, Albert Howard and Warren Wilson Wright, and one daughter, Carol Ann Wright, all of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 11 a.m. today in the New Light Missionary Baptist Church. Burial followed in Eden Vale Memorial Park.
