A total of 2,292,453 passengers traveled through McCarran International Airport during January, a 7.1 percent decrease from the same month last year.
Most of the decrease in passenger traffic was attributed to a lower demand for Las Vegas flights in January.
Reno Air had a 127.2 percent increase in January passengers while Alaska Airlines had a 19 percent increase. TWA posted an 18.6 percent increase followed by Northwest at 3.8.
Most major airlines had declines in January, officials said.
Southwest Airlines was down 11.5 percent while America West was down 14.8.
