Joseph Louis Baugus, 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born March 1, 1921. A resident for 19 years, he was a truck driver, an Army veteran and a member of the Masons in Ohio and Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife, Mona Lee; three sons, Kevin L., William Joseph and Norman Casey Baugus; four daughters, Dorothy Smith, Bessie Lyon, Terrie Sealy and Dolly Sowell; one brother, Horace Thompson; 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Sunday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.

FRANK GIULIANO BOLIN

Frank Giuliano Bolin, 52, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 5, 1945, in Rome. A resident for 26 years, he was a restaurant captain at the Desert Inn and a Culinary Union steward.

He is survived by four sons, Christopher, Nicholas, Fortune and Frankie; and three daughters, Gina, Emily and Lisa.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Monday in St. Anne Catholic Church. A reception will follow at the family residence.

The family suggests donations to a memorial fund at Bank of America.

CARRIE EACKLES

Carrie Eackles, 46, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 29, 1952, in Louisiana. A resident for 21 years, she worked in the hotel industry.

She is survived by two sons, Tony L. Eackles and Terrance L. Eackles; one daughter-in-law, Angela Evans; four brothers, Andrew Brass Jr., Charles Johnson, Curtis B. Brass and George Brass; four sisters, Polise Johnson, Sheila Lewis, Barbara Clemons and Linda Eackles; her father, Huey Eackles; her mother, Mamie Lewis; and five grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 1 p.m. today in True Love Baptist Church, 1941 N. H St. Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

DEBRA J. GILBERT

Debra J. Gilbert, 41, of North Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 26, 1957, in Chicago. A resident for 18 years, she was a bookkeeper.

She is survived by one daughter, Lilly McMurtry of North Las Vegas; her mother, Joan Gilbert of Las Vegas; her father and stepmother, Allan F. Gilbert and Marcia Gilbert of Bend, Ore.; and two sisters, Brenda Ludlow of Las Vegas and Kathleen A. Jones of Salt Lake City.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at 2616 Carroll St., North Las Vegas. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

AGNES THERESA HALL

Agnes Theresa Hall, 80, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born May 31, 1917, in Pennsylvania. A resident for 12 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Frank; two sons, Frank W. Hall and John Hall; one daughter, Barbara Hall; one sister, Helen Ferguson; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

MARJORIE HERRING

Marjorie Herring, 74, of Clearwater, Kan., died Wednesday in Clearwater. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a retired Clark County School District supervisor.

She is survived by one son, Marvin Albertson of Wichita, Kan.; one daughter, Shirlyn Vulgamore of Clearwater; three brothers, Troy Bennett of Pampa, Texas, Roy Bennett of Las Vegas and Jimmy Bennett of North Glenn, Colo.; two sisters, Nadean Morse and Bobbe Moore, both of Las Vegas; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

WALTER 'PEE WEE' JACKSON

Walter "Pee Wee" Jackson, 65, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 14, 1933, in Alabama. A resident for 37 years, he was a bus driver.

Visitation will continue until 8 p.m. today in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries, 2071 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be noon Saturday in Harrison-Ross Mortuaries.

SYLVIA JACOBS

Sylvia Jacobs, 82, of Henderson died Monday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 6, 1916, in New York City. A resident for 10 years, she was a bookkeeper in the recording industry.

She is survived by one son, Neil Hornik; one daughter, Beth Glenk; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

INEZ L. KARLEN

Inez L. Karlen, 81, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. A resident for 17 years, she was born March 18, 1916, in North Dakota.

She is survived by one brother, Howard Kocher, and one sister, Arlowene Lochthowe, both of North Dakota.

STANLEY H. KREGER

Stanley H. Kreger, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 25, 1924, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired purchasing manager for a motion picture studio, a World War II Army Air Corps veteran, a member of Masonic Lodge 42 and Scottish Rite Bodies, both in Los Angeles, Daylite 44 and Zelzah Shrine Temple, both in Las Vegas, and the Mini Clinic Zelzah Shrine and he was past commander of the Legion of Honor.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda; one son, Adrian Kreger of Portland; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one prior to 9:30 a.m. services Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

NEIL ALEXANDER MACDIARMID JR.

Neil Alexander MacDiarmid Jr., 76, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 3, 1921, in North Dakota. A resident for 15 years, he was a 35-year electrician for a Navy shipyard, an Army veteran, a member of the Friendship Club and Dula Senior Citizens Center.

He is survived by one daughter, Neila Phillips of Baton Rouge, La.; two sons, Robert Eric MacDiarmid of Vista, Calif., and Earl Allyn MacDiarmid of Las Vegas; one brother, Ervin MacDiarmid of Las Vegas; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. A private burial will follow.

PATRICK DEAN MCGLASSON

Patrick Dean McGlasson, 25, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 6, 1973, in California. A resident for 11 years, he was a student and a 1990 graduate of Western High School.

He is survived by his father, James Dean McGlasson of Las Vegas; his mother, Christine Gale McGlasson of California; and one sister, Kimberly Ann Palmer of Oregon.

Burial will be in California. Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

BONNY C. MICHAEL

Bonny C. Michael, 42, of Las Vegas died Feb. 8 in a local hospital. She was born Feb. 10, 1955, in Santa Barbara, Calif. A resident for 12 years, she was a hospital emergency room technician.

She is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Wendy Butler and Carly Butler, both of Bakersfield, Calif.; four sons, Jeff Butler of Bakersfield, Shannon Michael of Escondido, Calif., Howard Michael of Great Falls, Mont., and Dustin Michael of Las Vegas; her father, James McWilliams of Pine Valley, Calif.; and three sisters, Ann Kennedy of Sacramento, Marla Lopez of San Diego and Janet of Big Bear, Calif.

A memorial service will be 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. A private burial will follow.

JAMES N. MULLEN a k a MULLINS

James N. Mullen a k a Mullins, 61, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 24, 1936, in New Rochelle, N.Y. A resident for 29 years, he was a hotel bellman, an Air Force veteran, a member of Culinary Union 226 and the Bartenders Union.

He is survived by his parents, James P. and Mary Ellen Mullen of New Rochelle; and one brother, John P. Mullen of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Tuesday in Bunker Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

ROLAND R. PETERSEN

Roland R. Petersen, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Nov. 27, 1911, in Bowbells, N.D. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired apartment manager.

He is survived by his wife, Marlis; one son, Ron Petersen of Yuba City, Calif.; one daughter, Marilyn Bryan of Las Vegas; one sister, Harriet Gaboury of Hemet, Calif.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

ALLAN HOWARD STATES

Allan Howard States, 40, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born July 4, 1957, in Denver. A resident for 20 years, he was a maintenance supervisor for an apartment complex and active with WestCare.

He is survived by his wife, Dianne; one son, Daniel States, three stepdaughters, Lisa, Kristy and Tami, his mother, Beckey States, and one sister, Tammy, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Ed States of Idaho.

Joseph Stockwell, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 28, 1945, in Arizona. A resident for 21 years, he was a truck driver for convention services and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Sylvia; two daughters, Inez Booher and Roxanne Mesa, both of Las Vegas; his father, Clovis Stockwell of Arizona; one sister, Edna Mae Jones; and two grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10:45 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

AUDREY JEANNETTE STUBBS

Audrey Jeannette Stubbs, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 30, 1924, in Louisiana. A resident for 25 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Dale Olsen, Dennis Olsen and David Olsen; and one grandchild.

BARBARA ANN WERNER

Barbara Ann Werner, 66, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 17, 1931, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident for 27 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Linda Hernandez of Stockton, Calif.; three sons, Steve Ford and Chris Werner, both of Las Vegas, and John Werner of Carson City; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

DORIS E. WHITE

Doris E. White, 61, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 26, 1936, in New York. A resident for 15 years, she was a hospital telephone operator.

She is survived by one son, Marcellus White; and one daughter, Helen Clark of San Antonio.

CLAIR W. WILLIAMS JR.

Clair W. Williams Jr., 59, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1939, in Jamestown, N.Y. A resident for 35 years, he was a retired casino manager for the Boyd Group, a Marine Corps veteran and past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars Lodge 1753.

He is survived by his companion, Mary E. Williams of Las Vegas; two daughters, Dawn Williams of San Francisco and Linda L. Williams of Las Vegas; his mother, Mary Ludwiczak of Sinclairville, N.Y.; his father, Clair W. Williams Sr. of Portland, N.Y.; three sisters, Patricia Tanner of Tonawanda, N.Y., Jackie Churchill of Las Vegas and Betty Olsen of New York; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.
