Jake-Moon, 31, died from numerous blows to the head.
Steve Johnson, Mohave County Sheriff's Office media specialist, said Thursday that Jake-Moon was last seen alive by acquaintances in Mesquite, Nev., Sunday afternoon.
A family gathering firewood discovered the body near Old Highway 91 in the "Big Bend" area west of Littlefield, about four miles east of the Arizona-Nevada border.
Johnson said there were no suspects.
The woman had been working in St. George and Mesquite. She had two children.
Investigators do not believe there is any connection between the woman's death and two other bodies found in the area in the last four months.
