UNLV’S Anderson named WAC golfer of the Week

Anderson led No. 1-ranked UNLV with a fifth-place finish in its win at the Taylor Made/Waikoloa Intercollegiate last weekend and recorded a 10th-place finish at the PING Arizona Intercollegiate to open the spring season.
In two events this spring, Anderson has recorded a scoring average of 71.50 in six rounds and a low round of 67. The Lake Mary, Fla., native has a scoring average of 72.00 in 17 rounds and a low round of 65 for the season.
Anderson also was named the College Golf Foundation's National Golfer of the Month and the WAC's Golf Athlete of the Month for November after capturing the individual title at the Golf World Invitational.
The Rebels have won a record-tying four tournaments this season and an unprecedented three out of their last four.
