A woman Metro Police believe may have witnessed a murder on Saturday is missing.
Kim Lee Richards' cell phone was found discarded at the scene of a 7:30 a.m. murder at the Budget Suites, 3684 S. Paradise Road.
The victim, Darren Keith Sanders, 35, had just dropped off a set of keys with a neighbor in the Budget Suites when he was gunned down, police said. Richards was believed to have been with Sanders when the shooting took place, and she may have met with foul play, police said.
Witnesses reported seeing a dark-colored sport utility vehicle leave the area with two men in their early 20s inside the vehicle, police said.
Police are asking anyone with information about Richards' whereabouts to call homicide at 229-3521 or Secret Witness 385-5555.
