A 23-year-old inmate in the Henderson City Jail was served with a warrant Monday accusing him of a Las Vegas man's murder Jan. 13.
Kevin Osborne was booked into Clark County Detention Center to await his pending court date regarding Gregory T. Ranstead's murder, authorities said. Osborne had been jailed in Henderson on charges from a previous arrest in Boulder City.
A coworker stopped by Ranstead's Sunrise Vista Motel room, 3801 E. Charleston Blvd., last month to pick the man up for work and found the 42-year-old plasterer dead.
Osborne, who police identified as an associate of Ranstead's, had been wanted for questioning in past weeks. A warrant was issued for his arrest Jan. 22.
