Hospital offers babysitting seminar
Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998 | 10:52 a.m.
Mary Henderson, a Sunrise registered nurse/community educator, will teach students safety issues such as what to do in case of a fire or choking incident, and explain the seriousness of shaking a baby. She also will discuss nurturing techniques and stress that, since babysitting is a business, students should act in a professional manner and be punctual. Entertainment ideas for the students to use while babysitting also will be covered.
Students must be at least 12 years old to attend. Seating is limited. For more information or to register, call 731-8188.
