Weststate wants to build two 300-room hotel-casinos on the west side of Industrial Road between Russell Road and Hacienda Ave. The hotels would include restaurants and meeting rooms. The project was initially approved in 1993.
The resorts would be located within an established resort corridor and as such do not fall under the restrictions of a state law passed last year to limit neighborhood casinos.
