This follows the Michigan Legislature's approval of a compact between Gov. John Engler and the tribe, the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of Potawatomi Indians.
Full House Resorts' partner in the deal is Dreamport Inc., the gaming and entertainment subsidiary of GTECH Corp.
Full House said the Battle Creek market boasts an adult population of 1.1 million within a 50-mile radius and approximately 5 million within a 100-mile radius.
