The plant is expected to open in the fall of 1999 and will initially employ between 50 and 60 people. It could eventually expand to a 200,000-square-foot facility and employ about 200 people, the company said.
The company makes non-wood decking material that requires no sealants for protection and is used in residential and commercial decking. The company's sales have increased from $3.5 million in 1993 to $34.1 million in 1997.
