Letter: Trim cable channels, don’t raise rates

If it means cutting down costs, delete 25 percent of the channels.
Cox owes a third of the "Entertainment Tonight" television show and has its fingers in many other pies. It's a giant corporation. It doesn't need the money. What it needs is more competition.
The ultimate decision-maker on the rate increase is the FCC, and that is us, the people of Clark County. Sen. Harry Reid should be on top of this; we cannot afford the rate increase now.
