Brief: European nation to allow table games

Slot machines and lotteries are operated by the Swiss now, but it remains one of the few European nations without casinos featuring table games.
Swiss gamblers travel to nearby casinos in France, Italy, Germany or Austria to play table games. This has Swiss officials hoping to legalize those games in order to generate tax revenue.
The proposed casinos likely would require large investments and foreign partners.
