StumbleLyon County hires lobbyist

The Walker & Associates firm of Carson City won the bid at a $15,000 fee to represent the county at the 1999 Legislature.
The firm earlier won contracts to lobby on behalf of Carson City and Douglas County at the session.
"We have 30,000 people in Lyon County, we're not a small rural community anymore ... This investment could save us a hundred thousand," he said.
