Regarding the hiring of John Robinson to coach the UNLV football team: As always, the Sun breaks the sports story first. (If I remember correctly, the hiring and firing of former Rebels coach Jim Strong came from the Sun as well.)
I've been telling people down here in SoCal that the Sun has been indicating all along that Robinson will be the next head coach. After several "yeah, right" answers from the USC alums here, I am now getting the "Hey, that's what you were telling us along!"
I'm glad I don't have to reveal my internet news source around the water cooler.
