Popular Coors rodeo bingo back at NFR for fifth consecutive year

Original Coors Rodeo Bingo, the popular prize game, returns to the National Finals Rodeo for the fifth straight year.
Original Coors Rodeo Bingo allows fans to interact with the rodeo action in the arena and win prizes. It is focused on a game card with numbers selected at random that fit with possible scores in the scored rodeo events. Marking their Rodeo Bingo cards, fans win by matching five numbers in a row in any direction.
While a variety of merchandise prizes are awarded regular bingo winners from Original Coors and other supporting rodeo sponsors, the grand prize for a "blackout" bingo (all numbers covered) in 1998 will be $100,000, the only cash prize offered.
"Part of our goal with Original Coors Rodeo Bingo is to build consumer involvement and excitement during the NFR," Bob Haimes, brand director for Original Coors, said. "This program is a highly-visible promotion which assists in creating increased awareness of both the NFR and rodeo sponsors."
Original Coors Rodeo Bingo game cards are distributed each night to spectators of the NFR at the Thomas & Mack Center.
More than 12,000 prizes, a program record, were awarded at the 1997 National Finals Rodeo to winners of Original Coors Rodeo Bingo.
