Beautiful Noise -- 3-wide and weakened in last, split foes for 3rd on the stretchout before that, draws rail post now, McCarron again for hot Hollypark trainer McAnally.

Value Play -- Sun Charmer

3RD RACE:

Adoracion - Set pace and second best from inside post in last, gate-to-wire win at over twice this price sprinting earlier this year, prompt start may be all she needs to steal this.

Diamonds for Elise - Sitting on a three-race win streak, in the quinella in most recent 5 starts with 4 victories, consistant for this level, a factor throughout.

Value Play -- Magic Remedy

4TH RACE:

Blending Element - Returns to races from 16-month layoff, solid works for return, in the quinella 5 of 6 U.S. starts with 3 victories, proven winner off-the-shelf, Eddie D. now.

Palme d'Or - Off slowly and pulled while close 3rd at a mile on Anita lawn in U.S. debut in last, 3 for 5 in France, Ellis trainee gets significant rider change to McCarron for this, had tightener, beware.

Moonlight Glory - Set pace and gave way routing at Bay Meadows in last, won on-the-pace at a mile before that, in the quinella 6 of most recent 11 starts with 3 victories, ships south for this and get shot rider Gomez.

Indomable - Dueled lead and just missed while 2nd by a nose when in need of a race in last, in the quinella 17 of 62 lifetime starts with a half-dozen victories, Pedroza/Carava team, bounce is a concern.

Value Play -- Pirate's Story

6TH RACE:

Cash Value - Wide 3rd in last, in the quinella 4 of prior 6 starts this year with a pair of victories, returns to same level with hustling bug boy Smith back, Value could Cash here.

Truely Yours - Dueled lead and outfinished to 3rd in last, missed by a nose when 2nd while claimed at higher price three races back, broke maiden at this trip and track late May, drops a level, Pedroza/Carava combo.

Value Play -- Easyrider

7TH RACE:

Lucky Molar - Split horses while 3rd when in need of a race in last, both lifetime victories at Hollypark, back to two-turns now, Eddie D. stays on Van Berg trainee, had tightener, beware.

Media Beach - 4-wide 2nd in last, runner up in most recent three outings, last victory was at this trip and track, reunites with Pincay now, a factor thoughout.

8TH RACE:

Scepter'd Isle - Returns to races off one-year layoff, 4th in December '97 at this track in last, 3rd before that, return to most recent form good enough to get diploma here, drops two levels, Solis returns.

Coulter - Even run when splitting the field in last, dueled between foes and weakened before that, nice works since raced, Valdivia takes over, not much to topple to graduate.
