Spotting the stars

Mosey on over to the Fashion Show Mall and you'll find a number of rodeo stars ready to shake hands and sign autographs. Located on Las Vegas Boulevard and Spring Mountain Road, the mall presents 1998 Miss Rodeo America, Mary Shaw, in front of Miller Stockman, Nov. 29, from 1 to 2 p.m. The newly crowned 1999 Miss Rodeo America will be signing autographs in Macy's Holiday Lane from 11 a.m. to noon, and in front of Miller Stockman from noon to 12:45 p.m., Dec. 12.
Miller Stockman in the Fashion Show Mall is a rodeo hot spot. A variety of rodeo stars are scheduled to appear at the store, including: Rusty Sewalt and Rocky Steagall, Dec. 4; Fred Whitfield and Rope Myers, Dec. 5; Rocky Steagall and Jeff Chapman, Dec. 6; Byron Walker, Dec. 11; Fred Whitfield, Dec. 12; and a number of Justin Boot and Wrangler endorsees. Silverton also welcomes some top NFR cowboys and personalities. Look out for the notorious Bodacious, the "World's Meanest Bull." Bodacious appears daily at the hotel during NFR.
Tuff Hedeman stops by the Gold Coast, Dec. 6 from 2 to 4 p.m. in front of the NFR merchandise booth.
Just about anywhere you turn this week, you're bound to see a shining star.
