Casino Data Systems, which runs the progressive system, said the winner is a cook's helper at a major Strip resort who had gambled less than $20 on the Xtreme Jackpot nickel game when he hit the primary jackpot.
The jackpot is paid in 20 equal annual installments.
The Xtreme system features multi-line, multi-coin video slots. The progressive system connects to both nickel and quarter slots with a maximum bet of $1.25.
