Neal E. Barton, 42, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born April 6, 1956, in Fort Campbell, Ky. A resident for 13 years, he was a hard- money counter in the gaming industry.
He is survived by one daughter, Miranda Barton, and one son, Nathan E. Barton, both of North Las Vegas; his father, Benny Barton of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; his mother, Betty J. Barton of Las Vegas; and one sister, Christie L. Mariani of Sherman Oaks, Calif.
A memorial service will be 3:30 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

The family suggests donations to the American Heart Association, 6370 W. Flamingo Road, Suite 1, Las Vegas, NV 89103.
MARIAN L. BECK
Marian L. Beck, 75, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born March 17, 1923, in Ohio. A resident for 35 years, she was a crossing guard for Metro Police.
She is survived by her husband, Edward; two sons Edward of Florida and Michael of Maryland; two daughters, Nancy of Mexico and Pamela of Las Vegas; and five grandchildren.
Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling private arrangements.
EVELYN E. BROOMFIELD
Evelyn E. Broomfield, 86, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born June 6, 1912, in Oklahoma. A resident for 46 years, she was a motel owner/operator.
She is survived by one son, William Chester of Sedona, Ariz.; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-8 p.m. Saturday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday in Bunkers Chapel. Entombment will follow in the mausoleum at Eden Vale Memorial Park.
EDWARD BROADHURST
Edward Broadhurst, 72, of Las Vegas died Aug. 18, in a local care center. He was born Jan. 18, 1926, Jersey City, N.J. A resident for seven years, he was a retired transportation auditor and a Navy and Air Force veteran who served in World War II.
He is survived by one sister, Patricia Taylor of Henderson.
A memorial sevice will be 3 p.m. Thursday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd is handling arrangements.
STANLEY BURGHARDT
Stanley Burghardt, 70, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born March 10, 1928, in New York City. A resident for five months, he was a longshoreman for 20 years.
He is survived by one sister, Rosalie J. Budzinski of Las Vegas; and seven nephews and five nieces.
Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. services Thursday in Nevada Funeral Service Chapel, 2983 Fremont St.

EUNICE D. FINCH
Eunice D. Finch, 64, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Aug. 24, 1934, in Logan, W.Va. A resident for 32 years, she was a food and beverage manager for a restaurant.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Catha of Las Vegas; two sons, Benny J. Eplin of Logan, W.Va., and Timothy Finch of North Las Vegas; two sisters, Lou Hitt of Cedar Grove, W.Va., and Bonnie Foreman of Las Vegas; one brother, John Damron of Middletown, Del.; and five grandchildren.
Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 4 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones.
Palm Mortuary is handling arrangements.
RONALD L. FORBUSH SR.
Ronald L. Forbush Sr., 57, of Henderson died Sunday. He was born Dec. 2, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was a retired union pension-welfare director and a Salvation Army volunteer.
He is survived by his wife, Holly; one daughter, Joyce M. Killian of Toledo, Ohio; one son, Ronald Forbush Jr. of Henderson; and one grandchild.
A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be private.
DWIGHT H. HOFFPAUER
Dwight H. Hoffpauer, 83, of Henderson died July 17, in a local care center. He was born Sept. 3, 1914, in Missouri. A resident for 11 years, he was an aircraft consultant. He was a World War II and Korean War Army veteran. He was a member of the Masons in Henderson and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne; one son, Steven Blank of Las Vegas; three daughters, Susan Walker, Barbara Moats and Claudia Freeman, all of California; and three grandchildren.
Burial will be in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
RAY CAMERON JOHNSON
Ray Cameron Johnson, 59, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born June 15, 1939, in North Hollywood, Calif. A resident for 13 years, he was a retired truck driver.
He is survived by his wife, Alyce; one son, Randall Johnson of Las Vegas; five daughters, Tina Johnson, Misty Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Samantha Johnson and Bridgette Johnson, all of Las Vegas; his father, Ralph Johnson of Simi Valley, Calif; two sisters, Barbara Swenson of Simi Valley and Ralphine Burt of Provo, Utah; and 3 grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled noon-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in Palm Chapel, Cheyenne.
IRENE L. NICHOLS
Irene L. Nichols, 93, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local care center. She was born Aug. 7, 1905, in Chicago. A resident for five years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Jan Lopac, and one grandson, Don Przybylski, both of Las Vegas; three granddaughters, Neta Morefield and Dana Smith, both of Las Vegas, and Nila DiDonna of Fort Lauderdale, Fla; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.
Arrangements are being handled by Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.
CLIFFORD A. RENTIE
Clifford A. Rentie, 54, of Las Vegas died July 23, in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 15, 1943, in Oklahoma. A resident for 44 years, he was room service waiter for Caesars Palace.
He is survived by one brother, Austin Bigsby of Las Vegas
Services will be 5 p.m. Friday at Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North
SHEILA TOBIN SILINSKY
Sheila Tobin Silinsky, 76, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Baker, Calif. She was born May 1, 1922, in New York City. A resident for 28 years, she was a retired owner/operator of a luggage shop.
She is survived by two sons, Gary Tobin of Las Vegas and Ronald Tobin of Sarasota, Fla.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
EDWARD STRONG
Edward Strong, 94, died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Dec. 3, 1903, in North Dakota and was an World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one nephew, Emerson Payne of Oregon.
Graveside Services 11:30 a.m. Friday in in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, handled the arrangements.
CATHERINE WOOD VORIS
Catherine Wood Voris, 90, of Boulder City died Monday in Boulder City. She was born April 10, 1908, in Trenton, Ill. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Fred Voris of Custine, Calif., Van Voris of Henderson and Dale Voris of Caldwell, Idaho; three daughters, Patricia McPherson of Magalia, Calif., Carol Roberts of Mabank, Texas, and Kay Richmond of Sioux City, Iowa; one sister, Marge Walters of Denver; 26 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A prayer service will be 6 p.m. today in St. Andrew's Catholic Church, 1399 San Felipe Drive, Boulder City. Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. in St. Andrew's Catholic Church. Graveside services will be in California.

CHARLOTTE 'SHORTY' WEHR
Charlotte "Shorty" Wehr, 89, of Boulder City died Sunday. She was born April 4, 1909, in Schuyler, Neb. A resident for 30 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Alberta Ewy of Boulder City; one sister, Lorene Haliken of Phoenix; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Graveside services were scheduled at 10 a.m. today in Boulder City Cemetery. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, handled arrangements.
