Della J. Bernhard, 75, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 1, 1922, in Burley, Idaho. A resident for 47 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons, Michael Bernhard of Madison, Wis., and Alan Bernhard of Las Vegas; one daughter, Julie Stephen of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.
Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
MARIE BROOKS-JOHNSON
Marie Brooks-Johnson, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born Oct. 3, 1938, in Atlanta. A resident for five years, she was a private duty nurse.
She is survived by two sons, Stanley Brooks of Providence, R.I., and Anthony Brooks of Las Vegas; four daughters, Edith Brooks, Towanda Brooks-Reagans, MaryTeresa Brooks and Malinda Brooks, all of Providence; three sisters, Polly Bryant, Josephine Jones and Jean Brooks, and one brother, Cecil Brooks, all of Atlanta; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be 7 p.m. today in the Greater St. Paul Church of God in Christ. Additional services will be in Providence. Nevada Funeral Service-Nevada Cremation or Burial Society, 2121 Western Ave., Suite A-3, is handling arrangements.
CRAIG MICHAEL CAMPBELL
Craig Michael Campbell, 51, of Las Vegas died Aug. 12 in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 23, 1946, in San Antonio. A resident for 20 years, he was a project manager and a Vietnam War Air Force veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby; two daughters, Cari Campbell of Las Vegas and Kelli Connelly of Tacoma, Wash.; two sons, David Campbell and Patrick Connelly, both of Las Vegas; and one brother, Paul Campbell of Minnesota.
Visitation is scheduled 8-9 a.m. Monday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.
DORIS WILMA CHADWICK
Doris Wilma Chadwick, 75, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 8, 1922, in Alabama. A resident for six years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one son, Garvis Chadwick; three brothers, Jerry Atkins, O.L. Atkins and S.B. Atkins; three sisters, Adlee Headrick, Olene Gribble and Grace Hicks; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
No local services are scheduled. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.
ELIZABETH FAIRBANKS
Elizabeth Fairbanks, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 12, 1921, in Chester, S.C. A resident for 39 years, she was a retired hotel housekeeper and a member of the Culinary Union.
She is survived by her husband, Coy J.; one son, William Emory of California; one daughter, Judy Goetz of Las Vegas; two sisters, Margaret Gillespie of Rock Hill, S.C., and Anne Abbott of Silver Springs, Md.; three grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 2 p.m. Sunday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.
BERNARD JIMMIE HAYTHORNE
Bernard Jimmie Haythorne, 93, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. A resident for two years, he was born Oct. 29, 1904, in Lake Providence, La.
He is survived by his wife, Ora Priscilla; one daugher, Doris Robinson of Las Vegas; and one sister, Odie Mae Hule of Gary, Ind.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.
GEORGE BRYAN KOLLER
George Bryan Koller, 66, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born March 19, 1932, in Port Angeles, Wash. A resident for seven years, he was a retired airline pilot and a Korean War veteran who served in the Army, Navy and Marine Corps.
He is survived by his wife, Judith; two sons, Eric Koller of San Diego and Keith Koller of San Francisco; two stepsons, Scott Ruggles and James Ruggles, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling arrangements.
WILLIAM MCELYEA
William McElyea, 46, of Henderson died Monday. He was born Oct. 11, 1951, in Minneapolis. A resident for 20 years, he was a computer graphics artist.
He is survived by his wife, Mary; one daughter, Sara McElyea of Glendale, Ariz.; two sons, Joshua McElyea and Aaron McElyea, both of Las Vegas; his father, Charles McElyea of Laguna Hills, Calif.; one sister, Kathleen Lindahl, and one brother, David McElyea, both of Minneapolis; and three grandchildren.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.
The family suggests contributions to the donor's favorite charity.

Mario Millosa, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. He was born April 9, 1925, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for 13 years, he was a hotel porter.
He is survived by two sons, Anthony and Christopher; one daughter, Amy Ambas; one brother, Victor; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Tuesday in Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North.
MERCIAL M. POPE
Mercial M. Pope, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local health care center. She was born Dec. 7, 1920, in Oklahoma. A resident for 62 years, she was a state government bookkeeper.
She is survived by one son, John Mastin of North Carolina; two daughters, Phyllis Knowlder of California and Carol Mastin Mashbir of Henderson; two brothers, Robert Lee Tucker of California and Gerald Tucker of Las Vegas; two sisters, Mertice Eldridge and Shirley Johnson, both of California; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Doris Ripka, 73, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born May 25, 1925, in Orleans, Neb. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired dispatcher for an airplane parts business.
She is survived by one son, Gary; two sisters, Ruth Graff of Henderson and May Casey of Indianapolis; one brother, Leonard McCord of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.
DIANE LYNN RODGERS
Diane Lynn Rodgers, 46, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born June 24, 1952, in Steubenville, Ohio. A resident for 10 years, she was a 21 dealer at the Las Vegas Hilton.
She is survived by two sons, Craig Rodgers of Henderson and Christopher Scott Rodgers of Wheeling, W.Va.; one brother, Dominic Andrew Parial of Henderson; and one grandchild.
Visitation is scheduled 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. services Saturday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

MORRIS SCHUTZER
Morris Schutzer, 84, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 21, 1914, in New York state. A resident for one year, he was a meat dealer and a World War II Army veteran.
He is survived by one son, Zackary, and one daughter, Sondra Hassman, both of Las Vegas.
Graveside services at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City are pending. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Ann Shapiro, 77, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospice. She was born March 12, 1921, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for four years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Irving; one daughter, Debbie Monaco of Las Vegas; two sisters, Lillian Weisshart of Brooklyn, N.Y., and Ida Aster of Los Angeles; and one grandchild.
Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., followed by graveside services in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
NORMAN J. VALENTA
Norman J. Valenta, 72, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. He was born March 7, 1926, in Mosinee, Wis. A resident for 3 1/2 years, he was a retired Allstate Insurance agent for 31 years in California and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Connie; one son, Patrick Valenta of Descanso, Calif.; two daughters, Suzette Valenta and Rochelle LaRoche, both of Henderson; one stepson, Michael Sprague of Burbank, Calif.; and one brother, John Valenta of Mosinee, Wis.
Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Lois L. Wright, 80, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 17, 1917, in Stringer, Okla. A resident for 18 years, she was a homemaker.
She is survived by one daughter, Clara Jo Gremore of Las Vegas; three sons, Gary L. Tilley of Port Lavaca, Texas, Richard Tilley of Las Vegas and Roy L. Wright of Portland, Ore.; one sister; 11 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
