Andres Deleon Angeles, 72, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 17, 1925, in the Philippines. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired from the Navy and a Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Maria; one daughter, Virginia Angeles, and two sons, Dani Angeles and Alan Angeles, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 11:15 a.m. Wednesday in St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1811 Pueblo Vista Drive. Burial will follow in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

J. LAUREN BLAIR

J. Lauren Blair, 68, of Henderson died Sunday in Henderson. He was born Feb. 19, 1930, in Bloomington, Ill. A resident for 11 years, he was a retired owner-operator of a pest control business, an avid golfer, fisherman and pool player.

He is survived by his wife, Fern E.; three daughters, Cathy Williamson of Mesa, Ariz., Laura Blair of Cannon Falls, Minn., and Connie Mooridian of Coon Rapids, Minn.; one son, Jay Blair of Cannon Falls; two sisters, Melicent Thesfield of Paxton, Ill., and Ellyn Balcom of Springfield, Mo.; one brother, Donald Blair of Gilman, Ill.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. today in Community Lutheran Church Chapel. Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

RUTH E. BLUNCK

Ruth E. Blunck, 82, of Boulder City died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born Jan. 9, 1916, in Mesa, Ariz. A resident for 26 years, she was a retired elementary school teacher.

She is survived by her husband, Rulon; four sons, David Blunck of Santa Clara, Utah, Ronald Blunck of Denver, Jerry Blunck of Boulder City and Karl Blunck of Palmyra, Utah; three sisters, Laura Hunsaker, Naomi Harris and Martha Randall, all of Mesa; two brothers, George Ellsworth of Farmington, N.M., and Robert Ellsworth of Texas; 22 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 10 a.m. services Wednesday in Buchanan LDS Chapel, Boulder City. Graveside services will be 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

HENRY CONRAD BURBACK JR.

Henry Conrad Burback Jr., 81, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local convalescent center. He was born Sept. 22, 1916, in St. Paul, Minn. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired taxicab driver.

He is survived by his wife, Roslyn; three daughters, Kathy Aguayo and Tracy Enriquez, both of Las Vegas, and Barbara Patchin of Longview, Wash.; three brothers, William Burback and Charles Burback, both of St. Paul, and Harold Burback of Wisconsin; three sisters, Violet Johnson and Loretta Cavander, both of Georgia, and Dorothy Bruzak of St. Paul; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

FRANCES EDNA CODDINGTON

Frances Edna Coddington, 81, of Henderson died Thursday in Henderson. She was born April 4, 1917, in New Mexico. A resident for 55 years, she was a technician for the federal government.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Anderson, and one brother, Bill Peisker, both of Henderson; three sisters, Alice Espinoza and Bette Jo Peisker, both of Henderson, and Lily Fletcher of Las Vegas; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

WILLIAM H. COOPER II

William H. Cooper II, 3, of Las Vegas died Aug. 4 in a local hospital. He was born July 10, 1995, in Las Vegas.

He is survived by his father, William Herman Cooper, his mother and stepfather, Karen R. and Jeffery Perkins, and one brother, Charles Perkins, all of Las Vegas; four sisters, Jasmine M. Perkins, Natasha Cooper and Iris Cooper, all of Las Vegas, and Jessica Cooper of Kinston, N.C.; and his grandparents, Bernice Benjamin and Harry Hughes, both of Ponchatoula, La., and Iris and Herman Cooper of Winston-Salem, N.C.

Visitation is scheduled noon-4 p.m. Wednesday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in River of Life Word Ministries. Graveside services will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest.

LILLIAN ANN DREIBELBIS

Lillian Ann Dreibelbis, 70, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 7, 1928, in Hastings, Neb. A resident for 22 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.

She is survived by her husband, Le Roy; one daughter, Cindy Gunter, and one son, David Dreibelbis, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Ernestine Moist of Portland, Ore., Arlene Thompson of Bakersfield, Calif., Loraine Armes of Hastings, Neb., and Marlys Hamill of Ann Arbor, Mich.; one brother, John Uhrich of Hastings; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Chapel, Jones.

BILLIE JO HALL-NELSON

Billie Jo Hall-Nelson, 65, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born Nov. 15, 1932, in Haskell, Texas. A resident for three years, she was a retired bookkeeper for a landscaper.

She is survived by one daughter, Jody Hirsch of Las Vegas; two sons, Danny Nelson of Brussels, Belgium, and David Nelson of Las Vegas; and eight grandchildren.

EARL 'HUTCH' HUTCHESON

Earl "Hutch" Hutcheson, 82, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 26, 1915, in South Dakota. A resident for 50 years, he was a heavy equipment operator in the construction industry and a member of the Operating Engineers Union in California and Nevada.

He is survived by one daughter, Deanna Perry, and one son, Ken Humbert, both of Henderson; one sister, Kate Mikesell of Basin, Mont.; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 6 p.m. Thursday in Pebble LDS Chapel, 2701 E. Pebble Road, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

MARY YANCEY LIEN

Mary Yancey Lien, 78, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born March 6, 1920, in North Platte, Neb. A resident for 40 years, she was a hotel waitress.

She is survived by her husband, Arold "A.G."; three daughters, Marlene Witt of Riverside, Calif., Carol Tout of San Francesco and Sandra Woods of Castaic, Calif.; three brothers, Clarence Yancey of Golden, Colo., Ed Yancey of Beaumont, Texas, and Tuck Yancey of Bethel, Alaska; three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.

ROBERT JAMES MAKIN SR.

Robert James Makin Sr., 54, of Sandy Valley died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 25, 1944, in Providence, R.I. A resident for 15 years, he was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy; one son, Robert James Makin Jr.; one daughter, Tammy Marie Makin; two brothers, John Makin and Gary Makin; and three sisters, Patricia, Leslie and Kathy.

HARRY MANGHIS

Harry Manghis, 82, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local health care center. He was born Nov. 20, 1915, in Haverhill, Mass. A resident for two years, he was a retired owner-operator of an auto parts business.

He is survived by his wife, Effie; one son, Bill Lloyd of San Clemente, Calif.; one daughter, Marilyn Jones of Las Vegas; three brothers, Theodore Manghis of Las Vegas, George Manghis of Florida and Andrew Manghis of Massachusetts; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.

CHESTER 'CHET' SEWELL

Chester "Chet" Sewell, 94, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 23, 1904, in Grandfalls, Texas. A resident for 56 years, he was a retired supervisor for a chemical manufacturing company, a member of Mount Moriah Masonic Lodge in Henderson, the Henderson Rotary Club and the Henderson School Board and president of the Clark County School Board for many years. C.T. Sewell Elementary School in Henderson was named after him.

He is survived by one daughter, Andrea Sewell of Mill Valley, Calif.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

DONALD E. SPALL

Donald E. Spall, 63, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Las Vegas. A resident for five years, he was a chef.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; five sons, Anthony Spall, Michael Spall and Eric Spall, all of Florida, and James Reome and Johan Peters, both of California; two daughters, Denise Spall and Deborah Dawson, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Jenny Spall of Pennsylvania and Bob Spall and Sonny Spall, both of California; one sister, Barbara Dickson of Oregon; and nine grandchildren.

EDITH WINIFRED THRANE

Edith Winifred Thrane, 69, of Henderson died Friday in Henderson. She was born Jan. 8, 1929, in Warren, Minn. A resident for 21 years, she was a retired manager of a real estate office.

She is survived by two daughters, Linda Louise Thrane-Knudsen of Maple Plain, Minn., and Monica Lee Thrane Neubauer of Hutchinson, Minn.; two sisters, Angeline McBride and Gladys White, both of Henderson; and five grandchildren.

Douglas Vidler, 81, of Boulder City died Friday in Boulder City. He was born July 16, 1917, in Staten Island, N.Y. A resident for 19 years, he was a retired electronics technician and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Edith I.; two daughters, Barbara West of Henderson and Bonnie Chervenka of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia; one brother, Stanley Vidler of Staten Island; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
