Phil Immordino plans to pitch a lengthy pact to repeat the event that drew thousands to a ranch on the town's outskirts earlier this summer.
Immordino says he wants to continue the bull run, but wants to move it inside the town. He wants the event to be held on the Mesquite Rodeo Grounds, on the northwest side of town.
The run was originally scheduled down Mesquite Boulevard, which is the business route for Interstate 15, but was moved when the state balked at the idea.
Some 600 runners participated in the event, which emulates a centuries-old tradition in Pamplona, Spain. Three runners suffered minor injuries.
