Letter: Letter writer who backed Tripp had it all wrong
Monday, Aug. 10, 1998 | 10:10 a.m.
McKay, like others, dislike it that President Clinton is doing a good job and he defeated George Bush. Why don't these people get a life?
McKay, MSNBC and CNBC find it hard not to lash the president two times a day. Let's stop it.
Tripp wanted to write a book. If she was doing her job she had nothing to worry about. What is wise about taping a friend? Get real.
What credibility does Tripp have? She is a friend of Lucianne Goldberg, a book agent. Tripp has nobody to blame but herself. She admits she is a Clinton hater.
Don't people realize that what Independent Counsel Kenneth Starr is doing now will affect our future presidents.
Republicans never forgot Watergate and Iran-Contra. So this is pay-back time.
Brian Greenspun and the Sun should keep up the good work.
