Man stabbed to death after chasing intruder
Thursday, Sept. 25, 1997 | 3:35 a.m.
About 6 a.m., the victim's wife left their apartment, and the victim's father-in-law carried the victim's baby to the vehicle for her. When he returned to the apartment, an intruder was inside trying to steal property, police said.
The father-in-law struggled with the intruder and the victim awoke during the commotion. The suspect then fled and the victim and his father-in-law followed him.
The victim, whose name was not released, caught the suspect in the parking lot and the suspect then stabbed him in the chest.
Police later arrested Seth Linaman, 19, and booked him into the Clark County Detention Center on a murder with a deadly weapon charge.
