The National Audit Defense Network earlier this week offered to take Jones' case for free.
The organization's marketing director, Kevin Roalson, said two specialists based in Las Vegas would be handling Jones' case. They were described as a former top IRS official and a member of the network's technical staff.
The company normally charges an annual fee of $297, then handles any audit-related services for its customers without additional charge.
A spokeswoman for Jones said she and her husband received notice last week that the IRS would be auditing their tax records.
