Burt Reynolds will donate Harley parts to new Vegas cafe

Friday, Sept. 19, 1997 | 2:46 a.m.

"There are only two sure things in life - a Bud distributorship and a Harley-Davidson," Reynolds said in a statement Friday.

Reynolds will autograph the various parts, including the metal tanks and front and tail fenders, during Tuesday's opening.

The new restaurant features a special section of Ann-Margret memorabilia, and another with Elvis Presley memorabilia.

It is the second Harley-Davidson Cafe, with the first opening in New York City in 1993.

The restaurant features a 28-foot-high, $500,000 replica of a Harley-Davidson bursting through the facade of the building, a 40-foot-by-40-foot electric American flag, and memorabilia tracing the 90-year history of the motorcycle icon.
