TWO YEARS AGO, women throughout the nation learned how they victimize themselves through their own fears, impulsive behavior and inappropriate desires.

They learned this by reading "Ten Stupid Things Women Do to Mess Up Their Lives," by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, celebrated self-help therapist and radio talk show host.

Earlier this year, "Dr. Laura," as the book jacket calls her, published a sequel:

"Ten Stupid Things Men do to Mess Up Their Lives" includes bad behavior characteristics such as "stupid chivalry" (getting involved with the wrong woman), "stupid matrimony" (getting really involved with the wrong woman) and stupid machismo (misunderstanding the difference between being male and being a man -- whatever that means).

I suppose the 11th stupid thing a guy could do to mess up his life would be to try to offer some constructive criticism to Dr. Laura about what's lacking in her latest book.

That's because Dr. Laura, as the book jacket describes, besides being an author is also a weight lifter, black belt and powerboat enthusiast.

That means, if I were to offer Dr. Laura advice, and she doesn't like it, she could very well beat me to death with her bare hands and discard my body in the middle of Lake Mead.

That said, I offer Dr. Laura, free of charge, some of the most stupid things men do to mess up their lives -- in Las Vegas.
