Rebel soccer in New Mexico
Friday, Sept. 12, 1997 | 9:29 a.m.
The UNLV soccer team will try to break into the win column today as it faces Texas-Pan American in the Borden Soccer Showdown at Albuquerque, N.M. The Rebels dropped both games in last weekend's Coors Light Invitational, falling to Gonzaga 2-1 and Stanford 1-0 to begin the season 0-2. UNLV and Pan American are meeting for the first time. Sunday, the Rebels face Wisconsin-Milwaukee at 11 a.m. The two teams have met only once, in the 1986 UNLV Invitational, and the Rebels posted a 5-0 victory in that contest.
