Levitz plans to close its Reno store
Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997 | 9:29 a.m.
Company officials said the store is closing because Reno is an "under-performing market."
"Basically, it is costing us more to run the store than we are making from it," said a spokeswoman at the corporate office in Boca Raton, Fla.
Levitz plans to close at least six other stores nationwide.
Other Reno furniture store owners said they are doing well despite a competitive business climate.
