Court documents allege bus driver admitted to molestation

Saturday, Sept. 6, 1997 | 9:26 a.m.

Wesley E. Goetz, 39, of Incline Village, made the admission during questioning by a sheriff's deputy before his arrest Thursday.

The court document alleges he committed sexual acts with the girl from December to August.

"He was acquainted with the family and the girl through her mother," said sheriff's Sgt. Mark Caldwell.

School officials said Goetz had been driving elementary, middle and high school students in Incline Village since 1993.

He was suspended without pay, pending the outcome of the case. He was booked on three counts each of sexual assault and lewdness with a child younger than 14.
