Considering the Clinton/Gore/DNC's current reputation for providing sweetheart deals and insider influence to selected financial donors, it certainly appears Gates will fit right in. Heck, she might even be able to teach those old Washington dogs a few new "shakedown" tricks of her own.
Second, with regard to Jeff's report on my change in status with the Nevada Republican Party: In no way, shape, form or fashion did Chairman John Mason or anyone else attempt to "muzzle" or "purge" me from the position of GOP spokesman. In fact, the exact opposite is true.
It was at my request -- not the chairman's -- that I changed from official spokesman to fund-raising consultant. This change allows me to speak out more openly on issues, not less. To suggest that Mr. Mason in any way is stifling free speech by Republicans in inaccurate, misleading and untrue.
