Houdini seance convenes on Halloween

Illusionist Dixie Dooley will conduct the seance and give a demonstration of tricks used by fraudulent mediums of Harry Houdini's era. Youll see the escape trick that made Sir Arthur Conan Doyle swear Houdini was supernatural. Also on hand will be original Houdini memorabilia, part of Dooley's extensive collection.

Dooley's collection wazs recently seen on NBC's "Houdini, Unlocking His Secrets." Dooley and the colelction were also featured as part of an upcoming German television special on Houdini.

The Houdini seance has become a Las Vegas tradition and is sure to induce just the right mood for Halloween. Seating is limited and begins at 1 p.m. The seance will be conducted at the exact time of Houdini's death in Detroit in 1926. For reservations, call 457-8448.
