Last week: After most of the field was involved in a high-speed wreck triggered when Jeff Gordon's Chevrolet cut a tire, Terry Labonte emerged to win the Sears Diehard 500 at Talladega, Ala. It was the defending Winston Cup champion's first victory of the season.
Fast fact: Despite the wreck, Gordon lost only 15 points of his lead over Mark Martin in the driver standings. He leads Martin by 110 points with four races remaining.

Fast fact: Randy Tolsma came from 13th on the starting grid in his 13th race to win the Dodge Truck 300. These were the first laps he had led as a Craftsman Truck Series racer.
