Henderson offers a ‘Howl-O-Ween’

Children are invited to dress and ghosts, fairies, witches, monsters and Halloween spirits for the overnight event. According to the staff, dinner will be "ghoulish" and feature a "spider, lizard and worm" soup.
Lock-in activities during the event will include stories, scary movies and "haunted" games. Participants will also be taught how to make masks from scratch. The lock-in will be supervised by Parks and Recreation staff the entire time.
Youths participating in the event are asked to pack a sleeping bag and pajamas. Breakfast will be served the following morning before parents pick up their kids.
