Man, woman arrested after pipe bomb found in their car

Police said the pipe bomb was spotted by an officer who pulled them over in the parking lot of Diamonds Casino on East Sixth Street.

Other officers responded and rendered the explosive device safe at the scene. Police said the device could have killed someone.

Police said 7.1 grams of cocaine also were found inside the vehicle.

Randall Coulunga, 36, and Rachel Mount, 25, both transients, were booked on drug charges.
