Driver of street sweeper arrested on investigation of drunken driving

The Nevada Highway Patrol said Sierra Sweep Co. driver Daniel Lockridge, 38, of Carson City, was booked after colliding with a car Thursday night in south Reno.
Troopers said Lockridge failed to slow down at the intersection of South Virginia Street and Arrowcreek Parkway, striking the rear of a car driven by Paul Matta, 33, of Reno.
No one was seriously injured in the 10:23 p.m. accident.
